Living in fear, living in preparation or living in ignorance?
What should we prefer?
Fear should induce more of preparation and drive away ignorance, fear should not adopt ignorance. Being cautious is always good.

When you fear failure, you work towards success.
When you fear losing a person, you work towards maintaining the relation.
When you fear losing your respect, you work towards keeping your character and personality intact.
So how can fear be a negative factor.
Only precaution to be taken is, to not make your fear lead you into depression ending in giving up.
