Is getting a job the ultimate goal of learning?
The second and real innings of learning begin only after you get the job. And your knowledge is required to be multifold and multi-dimensional. But, the general observation is people are reluctant to learn, work hard, observe closely, analyze, and be flexible, strategical, and tactful.
And what are the expectations from the job? Great money, comfortable work, no escalations, growth, no hardship, and basic expectation in terms of performance and work-life balance. Who sets the yardstick for all the above? SELF.
The irony of success is that, it be achieved at the cost of nothing.
