One Side of the Story, a Whole Relationship at Stake

When to Intervene and When to Stay Away

When one partner complains about the other, remember that hearing one side does not mean knowing the whole truth.

Intervene when there is abuse, manipulation, or genuine harm. Step aside when it involves everyday disagreements, differing expectations, or personal compromises.

Listen with empathy, but don’t become a judge. Taking sides may deepen resentment rather than resolve differences.

Maturity lies in knowing when to protect, when to guide, and when to stay away. Not every complaint needs intervention, and not every silence means everything is fine.
