We have grown with the culture which said, say ‘YES’ when elders ask you to do something.
It din’t mean respect their ego. It meant respect their age and experience.No one is right in everything. Everyone is wrong at some point of time but, everyone who is older carry better experiences and has better visibility and analysis to things if they are in some position like parents or teachers or Manager or playing any other role. So saying YES and making a sincere attempt is necessary.
That builds obedience and humbleness in you and the skill to listen and explore too.
