‘Being Correct’ and ‘Correcting Others’ – both aren’t welcomed

‘Being Correct’ and ‘Correcting Others’ – both aren’t welcomed, since, they hurt people’s ego’s and superiority complex.

What is the solution?

If you are correct, walk the path with confidence. Do not be disturbed by other’s opinion. Win over the people with patience , conviction, persuasion and demonstration of your thought by yielding the result.

If you want to correct others, accept the other person’s views first, give an ear, revisit your thought, think beyond your thought and theirs. If you still feel you are right, gradually make your moves towards convincing the thought with demonstrations and instances.

All of these, if the person is of significance, if he/she is worth spending your time and efforts.

Learning is never ending process. You are bound to do mistakes. Hardwork is inevitable to be successful.

Progress in life

Learning is never ending process. But there is no fun in learning the same thing again. Progress is when you learn new things.

You are bound to do mistakes. Repeating the same mistakes shows ignorance. Make newer mistakes to grow wiser.

Hardwork is inevitable to be successful. Doing the same work again and again is meant to be making you perfect too. But with age and phase of life, you need to work hard on different and better aspects. Else we grow timid.

We are finding 2020 to be a year full of disaster. Very true. But two observations going around.

Disasters did happen earlier also but we did not count them or follow them closely because we were busy in our own lives. We never had time to grieve for others or feel their pain. Now we feel because we are in some or the other way affected by corona ,so, can feel others grief too. We are either affected with poor business, job loss, pay cuts, infected by Corona Virus, feeling imprisoned in our own homes, or financial distress. When in pain, we relate better.

After a cloudy day, and pouring rain, sun shines better and pleasant too. So wait for the rains to stop, the sun is eager to shine. If we withstand this pandemic, we will flourish for the next 100 years. Life gives an accelerating push when it grows monotonous.

An other scenario is, Covid has helped us liberate ourself from the Routine, Traffic, Pollution, Global warming, Distance from near and dear ones.

Further, India has been Independent for more than 70 years now, the real independence has begun now with Government actively involving the participation of every Indian in one or the other way towards uniting them to face problems, threats together, awakening their emotions and motivating them towards their responsibilities towards the country and their fellow men and development of the country.

Erase the boundaries team members have drawn around themselves.

Erase the boundaries team members have drawn around themselves.
Push them hard to step out of their comfort zones.
Every team member has a skill in them which can be their strength.
Step by step make them explore themselves.
Make them believe that sky is the limit.

Don’t give them leniency to cut corners. It won’t take them farther.
What you add to their habits and personality stays with them for long.
As a Manager this is our role. And in this pandemic, this approach is more essential to save our team members’ jobs too.

We hear people saying, “Forget the past. Start a fresh”

We hear people saying, “Forget the past. Start a fresh”….We need to analyse this statement and apply only wherever applicable.

Only our past mistakes guide us. We grow wiser with the analysis of these. They are the live examples to give us insight of how we or others acted, what were the reactions and repercussions.

Never forget your mistakes. Remember them to not repeat them in future. Most of the times we are facing the same scenario, people and situations. Overall 80% of our actions and responses are repetitive. Correcting them, Improvising them will make our life better.

It is nice to make new mistakes than repeat the old. It’s a sign of maturity.

When you aim at promotions, higher designations, be prepared for never ending sacrifices first.

image100

When promotions are thought off, salary and authorities are fancied, responsibilities aren’t.
That’s how growth is envisaged. Higher roles are looked up at as trophies.
But very few realise, that, its not an achievement to settle down on. Its the starting point from where life’s comfort zone is completely eliminated. Continuous Improvement is the never ending goal.
So ,when you aim at promotions, higher designations, be prepared for never ending sacrifices first.

Words can be fabricated. Actions can rarely be.

image99

Actions speak loud and clear and are to be read .Words are always misguiding and used to capture people emotionally most of the times by wrong people.

Words can be fabricated. Actions can rarely be.

Further, showing consistency in fabricating actions takes a lot of toil over oneself. So people resort to words to impress and influence others.

Be impressed with consistent actions of people. Actions which are for your good, helpful and supportive. Never get carried away with words. Words like looks, may be deceptive.

Let us respect people for their knowledge or experience. Things are always easier said than done.

Let us not despise upon our Teachers, Parents or Managers just because they have achieved certain level of mastery in their subject or skill or lived life in the best possible way they knew and reached wherever they are by demonstrating the same consistently. Unlike us who are jack of all though we claim of knowing all. Given a chance all that we know put together, will not be able to arrive at anything constructive and sustainable but knowledge in bits and pieces which doesn’t take us anywhere.

image97

We get judgemental about them just because they might not know facebook or twitter or some app on the mobile or info on the latest car or bike model .These would anyways not be the gauging criteria for anyone’ s knowledge in technology or any subject. Any of these just make single statements or give partial info or someone’s version (who might not necessarily be an expert in the same) with forward messages.
Let us respect people for their knowledge or experience.

image98

It’s very easy to look down upon people who can”t present their knowledge or carry themselves well. But it is very difficult to acquire the same and emerge out like them if we face the same scenario.

Things are always easier said than done.

Aim at the sky, Success lies outside comfort zones, Perfection has to be chased time and again even after reaching there

All the Entrepreneurs are over ambitious. They want to serve as many clients as possible and to the earliest with quality, innovation and in great volumes.
Any successful entrepreneur who has been successful has been known as cranky, insane, dissatisfied soul, suffering obsessive compulsion disorder, insomniac, workaholic, over expecting, rude, upfront, decision makers against all odds, short tempered to the immediate reportees from the critics point of view. But these are the traits which led them to where they belonged.

‘Aim at the sky’, ‘Success lies outside comfort zones’, ‘Swim against the tide to reach higher’, ‘ Perfection has to be chased time and again even after reaching there’ – these weren’t just quotes for them. They were their ways of life.
People generally envied them, looked down upon them, and considered them bad bosses till they were accepted and appreciated by the whole world.Only few could align to their vision who dared to complete the race and believed in themselves.
