No one stops you from taking a wrong decision because,

Firstly, many won’t know or bother whether the decision is wrong or right.
Secondly, they dont want to own you to an extent that they stop you.
Thirdly, they want to see you facing the consequences.
Fourthly, they feel by contradicting your decision, they may lose you. So its better to be quiet than stopping you.
Fifth, they feel, it is better to stand by you in your failure than opposing the decision by posing resistance which might be perceived wrongly by you.
