When a person gets rich and famous, all his mistakes of past have a rational justification by people. This masks the conscience of the person. Your brain might forget things, your soul and God above doesn’t. Repentance is necessary. And Repentance should come with humbleness, correction of the mistake and compensation to the victim/s.
